The Birth of Prolific

As a child, I used to write books for fun.

I'd sit at my grandmother's computer and tell her stories while she typed them out for me. Then we'd add graphics, print the pages, slide them into clear page protectors, and bind them together with plastic comb bindings.

I still have them to this day…

Growing up, storytelling was one of my favorite forms of expression.

Eventually, I discovered journaling, and for a while, it became a safe place to explore my innermost thoughts... until my privacy was violated. After that, I became afraid to write honestly, knowing someone else might read my words.

So instead...

I got lost in other people's stories.

At family gatherings, I'd disappear into a hidden room with a Twilight or Hunger Games book, completely immersed in worlds built on emotion and cinematic storytelling. Those stories reminded me that books could make you feel something deeply and transport you completely.

By high school, reading had become an assignment instead of an adventure. Although I excelled in English, somewhere along the way school unintentionally stole some of the joy I once found in writing.

Well... almost.

There was one poetry project that completely reignited something inside me! I still wish I could find that file today.

By the time college came around, reading and writing had almost disappeared from my life altogether. Outside of surviving classes and getting by, creativity had quietly taken a back seat.

It wasn't until I dropped out of college and found myself moving through one of the darkest seasons of my life in Los Angeles that I picked up my pen again.

And once I picked up the pen in 2020...

I never put it back down.

Today I'm writing in my twenty-first journal, and I hope one day that collection grows into the hundreds.

Somewhere between 2021 and 2023, after years of reflection, spiritual discovery, poetry, and daily writing, I found my voice.

That was also the season I was gifted the name Prolific.

My first book, TABU (The Art of Being Unleashed), wasn't part of some grand publishing plan or lifelong dream.

It simply arrived.

During one of my meditations, I felt an undeniable calling to write a book, and alongside it came the name Prolific. Whether you call that intuition, God, or something else entirely, I chose to trust it.

So I did.

Even when it felt impossible.

It remains one of the most meaningful creative experiences of my life.

Around that same time, I also began writing the story of my own life as a screenplay, knowing that sharing some of my most intimate experiences was part of my purpose. Eventually, that screenplay evolved into my second self-published book, Blurred Lines & Soul Ties.

Both books are available on Amazon, and you can find them below.

My self-narrated audiobooks are currently in production, and I can't wait to share them with you.

This is only the beginning!

My dream is to build a lifetime of written work.

Not only my own stories, but eventually creating space for other people to share theirs as well.

Because I genuinely believe everyone has a story worth preserving.

Everyone deserves to leave behind a piece of themselves in this world.

That's why I'm currently creating a guide for first-time authors—to show people that publishing isn't reserved for a select few. It's available to anyone willing to begin.

Below you'll find my First-Time Author Starter Kit, a resource created to help you transform your ideas into something real. As well as Prolific’s debut books.

It will be an honor to watch Prolific Publications grow over the years.

Thank you for being here. 🤍
